I have a little cigar box with the coins I collected a few years ago. We have nice little coin store here in Mansfield, and they have a nice bin of half-price foreign coins. I got hooked on collecting British Large Cents for a while, then branched out into British Silver. My kids apparently got into the box, because a lot of the loose coins (at least 50 G.B large cents included) are gone! Some of my nice shillings and half crowns have disappeared as well! But, as with the currency, it is for historical and educational value. I never expected to earn any money off of it.
